Acrylic on a turkey feather encased in a walnut shadowbox titled "First Down". Before the sun breaks the horizon each spring, soft yelps, gobbles and feet scratching the bark of branches begins the morning on the roost. The first one down commences the chorus of wind through wings, cackles and ultimately the booming voice of the gobbler below the trees. Original 1 of 1.

B Hoover Custom Calls is owned and operated by Brent and Sherri Hoover. We offer duck, goose, deer, elk, turkey, predator, squirrel calls and dog whistles. All of the bands and goose guts are handmade one at a time. Each call has the hidden wildlife design in their profile. Colossians 3:23 states, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." Each call that leaves the shop has this reminder signed on the inside.
