Black Gold- Carved by Clayborn Dotson 1 of 1 This call is truly one of a kind representing my state of West Virginia “ The Billion Dollar Coal Field” and my passion for Turkey Hunting. On the front side you’ll see a Tom and Hen out roaming looking for food around and old Coal Mining Tipple not knowing on the back side is ole Coyote out on the prowl searching for his prey. On the top of the call/ handle you’ll notice an Old Turtle shell mining hat and #4 shovel carved. Underneath on the call you’ll see a buggy of coal with a pick laying on tracks made of real iron looking just like the entry underground in the coal mines. This call is beautifully crafted and consists of Tupelo, Cedar, Poplar, and Iron.

Clayborn Dotson is a self taught artist from Williamson WV. He started entering his custom Turkey calls into the NWTF Community in 2006 in Nashville TN and Williamson WV, which he won several awards including Best of Show, 1st, 2nd and 3rd. He’s been making custom calls for over 20years! When he’s not spending time with family he will be hunting, drawing, painting, or just being creative. Loves riding his side by side while enjoying nature in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. You will not meet a more down to earth, respectful, and talented person. Thank You!

User entered description: Lady Bird- Made by Clayborn Dotson 1 of 1 Original A Mallard Hen relaxing on her nest behind some cattails protecting her eggs. The actual call is hidden inside her tail feathers. *Mallard made of Basswood and Poplar. Call consists of Spalted Tamarind wood and a Black Acrylic Sound board. This is a beautiful piece of art for the Duck lovers out there.
