This Turpin Style Trumpet call has been skillfully crafted by callmaker Mike Lapp. It is made of holly wood, with a brass ferrule and a turned buffalo horn mouthpiece. The stand is also made from holly wood. The hand done artwork created in the mediums of Carvings, Pyrography & Paint, has been created by artist Sherry Brown. The call shows a carved, painted gobbler bust surrounded with beautiful hand burned & painted dogwood blooms. The backside of the call with a second gobbler bust done in the medium of pyrography, also hand painted surrounded with dogwood flowers in bloom. The lower portion of the backside has a carved and hand painted dogwood bloom that seamlessly blends into the pyrography blooms. The entire call has a beautiful continuous flow using these different variations of mediums. The display stand has both a carved dogwood flower, covered in a beautiful flow of burned dogwood blooms.
